Washington's Hagglund Named Pac-10 Volleyball Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- WASHINGTON setter Jenna Hagglund has been named the Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Oct. 6 -12, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today. Hagglund recorded two double-doubles in consecutive matches as the Huskies picked up a pair of five-set road victories at No. 8 UCLA and No. 11 USC over the weekend. Against UCLA, the West Chester, Ohio, native registered a match-high 56 assists and was second on the team with 25 digs, marking her second double-double of the season. The sophomore helped the Huskies snap USC's 32-match home winning streak Saturday as she posted 57 assists and 11 digs. Hagglund now has 2,111 career assists, eighth all-time at Washington. This marks the second weekly honor for Hagglund and the 27th for Washington all-time.
