AROUND THE LEAGUE

ARIZONA (4-15-1, 1-8-0)
The Wildcats closed out their season at home with losses to Oregon and Oregon State...SO F Renae Cuellar led the team with six goals on the season and Jasmine Namdar and Leila Amini led in the assists category with three each.  

ARIZONA STATE (9-7-4, 2-6-1)
Arizona State played tough on the road against Wisconsin in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, but saw its season end, losing in penalty kicks, 4-3...The Sun Devils went down early in the match 1-0, but FR MF Aissa Sanchez netted the first goal of her career to tie the game up at 1-1...FR GK Alyssa Gilmore made six saves, as the match went into penalty kicks after two overtime periods.

CALIFORNIA (11-9-1, 4-5-0)
In the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the Golden Bears earned a 2-1 overtime win against Auburn with a golden goal by RS SR Lisa Kevorkian, her fifth-game winner of the season...Cal’s leading scorer, JR F Alex Morgan scored the first goal of the game, her 14th goal overall...In the second round, the Bears faced No. 1 seed Florida State, where they suffered a 3-0 loss despite matching the Seminoles’ shot output at eight and forcing FSU’s goalkeeper to make five saves.   

OREGON (9-10-1, 1-8-0)
In the last weekend of the season, the Ducks split on the road, earning a 5-1 win over Arizona and dropping a 2-1 decision at Arizona State...JR F Jen Stoltenberg led the squad with 10 goals and tied FR F Julie Armstrong for a team-leading six assists.  

OREGON STATE (14-7-1, 4-5-0)
Making only its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament, Oregon State has advanced to the round of 16 for the first time in school history...The Beavers dismantled Ohio State, 3-1 in Columbus, Ohio...JR MF Courtney Wetzel scored two goals and SR D Melissa Peck added her sixth goal of the season to lead the Beavers to victory...In the second round, OSU faced No. 3 seed Florida...In the 99th minute of the match, the Beavers had a golden goal from SO MF/F Melinda Ingalls, off an an assist from SR MF Rachael Axon to give the squad a 1-0 victory...For their efforts over the weekend, Wetzel and Axon were named collegesoccer360.com Primetime Players of the Week...The Beavers face Notre Dame on November 20 at 4:30 p.m. PT in South Bend, Ind. 

STANFORD (22-0-0, 9-0-0)
Pac-10 Champion Stanford began its NCAA Tournament campaign with a 2-0 win over Northern Arizona...JR F Christen Press scored both goals in the second half, both off assists from SR F Kelley O’Hara...In the second round, the Cardinal faced BYU and Press scored her 19th goal 23 seconds into the match, the fastest goal in Stanford history...The game stayed close at 1-0 until the 88th minute when SO F Lindsay Taylor scored her sixth goal to put the game away at 2-0...O’Hara also assisted on both goals against BYU, giving her 13 assists on the year...The Cardinal next face Santa Clara at home on November 20 at 7 p.m. PT. 

UCLA (19-2-1, 8-1-0)
UCLA has outscored its opponents, 12-1, in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament...SO F Sydney Leroux tied a Bruin record for goals in a match with four against Boise State in the first round...The Bruins were down 1-0 to the Broncos before netting seven unasnwered goals en route to a 7-1 win...Leroux added two more goals in the Bruins’ second round game, a 5-0 win over San Diego State...Leroux has scored 21 goals this season, making her just the fourth player in school history to net more than 20 goals in a season...SR F Lauren Cheney is just one point away from tying the UCLA career scoring record of 169. 

USC (12-6-3, 4-3-2)
USC dropped a hard-fought match in penalty kicks to Oklahoma State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament..The Trojans were playing in their third-consecutive overtime game...SR GK Kristin Olsen made six saves, helping to keep the game at 0-0...SO MF Brittany Kerridge led the squad with three shots...In penalty kicks, the squad fell, 5-4, to end the season...The Trojans were led by JR F Alyssa Davila, who paced the squad with nine goals on the season. 

WASHINGTON (12-6-4, 3-3-3)
Washington faced Mississippi in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and beat the Rebels, 1-0..SO MF Kate Deines scored her third goal of the season in the 25th minute to lift the Huskies into the second round with the 1-0 win...In the second round, the Huskies faced No. 2-ranked Portland and, despite playing almost 40 minutes of the game down a player, UW held strong until the 88th minute when the Pilots scored the go-ahead goal, 2-1...JR GK Kari Davison made four saves and SR D Lindsey Kasser scored her first goal of the season for UW. 

WASHINGTON STATE (14-6-2, 5-2-2)
The Cougars earned a 1-0 win over Villanova in the first round of the NCAA Tournament off a goal by SR Mallory Fox in the 74th minute...The shutout marks the 11th of the season, a school record for WSU...In the second round, the squad faced No. 19 Maryland and despite outshooting the Terrapins, 12-10, the squad dropped an eventual 1-0 decision...The Cougars tied a school record for wins in a season with 14.
