TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's soccer program made great strides on and off the field this past year by finishing in Soccer America's Top 25 and with all 22 players being awarded the Maroon and Gold Award for having a 3.0 grade-point average during the fall semester. In addition, this year the team was also involved with numerous volunteer work activities throughout the Phoenix area.

There were many activities that the players were involved in, some included the ASU Cares program which involving picking and cleaning up grapefruit, reading to elementary school children, teaching at numerous soccer clinics and helping to build a house.

The team as a total completed 510 hours of community service! That is more than 23 hours of volunteer work per person. The Sun Devils were very grateful for the great attendance and enthusiasm from the fans this past year and wanted to give back to the community by thanking them for making this year so special. Thank you to the fans for all your support and we look forward to playing another great season for you.
