UCLA senior Kristen Maloney has been named Pacific-10 Conference Gymnast of the Week for Feb. 1 - 6, 2005, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Maloney, hailing from Pen Argyl, Pa., won the all-around at No. 2 ranked Michigan with a score of 39.575 in front of 5,039 fans. The senior placed first on beam with a 9.9 and tied for first on floor with a 9.9. Maloney also placed second on bars (9.9) and tied for fifth on vault (9.875). The final score of the meet was UCLA 195.25, Michigan 196.25.

Nationally, Maloney ranks first in the all-around (39.565 average) and uneven bars (9.905), second on beam (9.912) and is tied for third on vault (9.9) UCLA is currently ranked No. 5 nationally with a 195.921 team average. Its team high score this season is 197.300.
