Matchups against NCAA Tournament teams from Texas, Purdue, Ohio State, Stanford and Arizona are among the highlights of UCLA's 2004-05 women's basketball schedule, released Friday.

The Bruins start the season at the Miami Jam before returning to LA for a four-game stretch, starting with a Nov. 24 game against 2004 WNIT participant Clemson. The marquee matchup of the homestretch is a Nov. 28 clash with Texas. The Bruins will then face Pepperdine in Malibu on Dec. 2 and Purdue in Pauley Pavilion on Dec. 5.

UCLA opens Pac-10 play at home against rival USC on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 7 pm. The Pac-10 Tournament will take place in San Jose Mar. 4-7.
