Seattle - The Washington women's basketball team departs for its tour of Australia Sat., June 15. The Huskies, who will tour from June 15-26, will play five games against teams from the Australian Young Women's National Teams.

The team departs from the UW Crew House at 2 p.m., Sat., June 15.

This will be Washington's second trip to Australia, following the one most recently taken in 1998. Overall, it is the third foreign tour taken by a UW women's basketball team. The Huskies visited France in 1994. The NCAA permits collegiate athletic teams to take a foreign tour every four years.

June 16 - Arrive Sydney
June 17 - Tour Sydney
June 18 - Tour Sydney; Opera House, Taronga Zoo
June 19 - Manly Beach; Game 1 vs. Australian Young Women's National Team
June 20 - Game 2 vs. Australian Young Women's National Team
June 21 - Depart Sydney for Brisbane; tour of Australian woolshed
June 22 - Game 3
June 23 - Game 4
June 24 - Depart Brisbane for Cairns; tour Wild Animal Park
June 25 - Game 5 vs. Cairns Marlins
June 26 - Tour Cairns
June 27 - Depart Cairns / arrive Seattle
