WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- CALIFORNIA junior forward Andrew Wiedeman has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 8-14, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today.

The San Ramon, Calif., native led the 11th-ranked Golden Bears to a pair of victories in the 13th-Annual Cal Legacy Classic at Edwards Stadium. Wiedeman scored two goals, including the game winner, and had one assist in the Bears' 4-0 rout of George Washington. In Sunday's 3-1 win over Cal Poly, he found the back of the net once and tallied two assists.

Wiedeman leads the Conference in points (11), goals (4), points per game (2.75) and goals per game (1).

This is the third-career weekly honor for Wiedeman and California's 14th all-time Pac-10 Player of the Week.
