CORVALLIS, Ore. - -

Oregon State men's soccer player Ryan Johnson has earned a position on the Jamaican Olympic Team traveling squad, OSU head coach Dana Taylor announced Thursday.

Johnson, from Boston, Mass., was born in Jamaica.

A sophomore forward for the Beavers, Johnson was fourth in scoring on OSU's high-powered offense of 2002 with 13 points, tallying four goals and five assists as a true freshman.

Johnson earned All-Pacific-10 honorable mention in 2002.
