CORVALLIS, Ore. - -

Bryan Jordan has signed a letter of intent to play men's soccer for Oregon State University, OSU coach Dana Taylor announced Wednesday.

Jordan is a 5-foot-8, 150-pound midfield/forward from Temple City, Calif., where he played for the Celtic Hoops club team, in addition to his Temple City High School squad.

"We are very excited about Bryan because of his ability to run at defenders and create scoring opportunities individually," Taylor said. "We know he can contribute to our success from the get-go."

Among Jordan's attributes noted by Taylor are his pace and agility, as well as a deft touch in tight spaces.

Jordan also ran track at Temple City.
