WALNUT CREEK, Calif.- Pacific-10 Conference Commissioner Larry Scott has approved a request from University of Oregon to reinstate suspended football player LeGarrette Blount.  Blount was suspended for unsportsmanlike actions following Oregon's football game at Boise State in September.  

"After a thorough review of the situation, I am convinced LeGarrette Blount paid a significant and appropriate price for the mistakes he made on the field and that he has learned important life-long lessons," said Scott.  

The reinstatement is effective immediately and Blount is eligible to play in Oregon's remaining football games.
