During select Pac-10 Men's basketball games on FOX Sports Net this year, a Pontiac Pac-10 Game Changing Performance was selected. Pontiac awarded the school $1,000 to their general scholarship fund.

With 55.2% of the votes, The Cougars defense, ranked third in the nation, was able to dictate the offensive flow from the start against the Ducks, the top-scoring team in the Pac-10.
