    Stanford's Landry Fields Named Pac-10 Men's Basketball Top Scholar-Athlete

    Stanford men's basketball senior Landry Fields has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, presented by Toyo Tires, league officials announced Wednesday at the Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament.

    Thursday's Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament Bracket Adjusted

    The bracket for the evening session of the Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament on Thursday, March 11, has been adjusted. The first game of the evening session will now feature No. 2 seed Arizona State vs. No. 7 seed Stanford at 6:18 p.m. PT, while the second game of the session pits No. 3 seed Washington vs. No. 6 seed Oregon State at approximately 8:40 p.m. PT.

    California's Randle Named Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player of the Year

    WALNUT CREEK, Calif., - In a vote of the 10 Conference coaches, CALIFORNIA senior guard Jerome Randle has been named the 2009-10 Pacific-10 Men's Basketball Player of the Year, ARIZONA forward Derrick Williams has been named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year; OREGON STATE senior guard/forward Seth Tarver has been named Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year; USC sophomore forward Nikola Vucevic has been named Pac-10 Most Improved Player of the Year and Herb Sendek of ARIZONA STATE is the Pac-10 Coach of the Year, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today.
