Pac-10 Names Cross Country All-Academic Teams

The 2009 Pacific-10 Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

    Pac-10 Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams Head To NCAA Championships

    STANFORD captured the NCAA West Region men's title to earn automatic qualification, while ARIZONA STATE, OREGON and WASHINGTON earned at-large selections for the men's race. Meanwhile, WASHINGTON won the NCAA West Region women's crown and OREGON finished second to grab the region's automatic qualifying spots. ARIZONA, ARIZONA STATE and STANFORD were awarded at-large berths for the women's race

    Pac-10 Men's and Women's Cross Country Battle at NCAA regionals

    OREGON will host the NCAA West Region Cross Country Championships at the Springfield Country Club Saturday, Nov. 14. The top-ranked STANFORD Cardinal men, fresh off their winning performance at the Pac-10 Championships, will battle the host Oregon Ducks. On the women's side, the Pac-10 defending champion and top-ranked WASHINGTON Huskies will continue the quest in defending their NCAA title.
