Stanford, Washington and Oregon Pick Up Pac-10 Cross Country Honors

STANFORD's Chris Derrick and WASHINGTON's Kendra Schaaf were named the Pacific-10 Conference Cross Country Athletes of the Year, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today.

Pac-10 Names Cross Country All-Academic Teams

The 2009 Pacific-10 Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Larry Scott. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

Pac-10 Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams Head To NCAA Championships

STANFORD captured the NCAA West Region men's title to earn automatic qualification, while ARIZONA STATE, OREGON and WASHINGTON earned at-large selections for the men's race. Meanwhile, WASHINGTON won the NCAA West Region women's crown and OREGON finished second to grab the region's automatic qualifying spots. ARIZONA, ARIZONA STATE and STANFORD were awarded at-large berths for the women's race
