College Station, TX - Junior Conor Niland, ranked No. 13 in the nation, fell to Harvard's Jonathan Chu in the Round of 32 at the 2005 NCAA Championships singles tournament. Niland, who was a straight set winner in yesterday's Round of 64, dropped both sets today, losing 6-2; 6-4.

The loss brings Niland's final overall record to 25-14, with six of those victories coming over opponents ranked nationally in the Top 25.

The Limerick, Ireland, native has received several postseason accolades, being named first team All-Pac-10 as well as the ITA West Region's Player to Watch.

Later this afternoon, Niland will be participating in the doubles tournament with partner Patrick Briaud, facing Rohan Gajjar and Adrians Zguns of Arkansas in the Round of 32.
