CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. - Playing in the doubles consolation final at the ITA National Indoor Championships, USC pair Gabriela Niculescu / Maria Sanchez were handed a loss to close out competition for the Women of Troy in Charlottesville, Va.

Niculescu/Sanchez were up against Sescioreanu/Vervekova of Auburn-Montgomery in the title match of the doubles consolation bracket today. The Auburn-Montgomery pair was able to capture the consolation crown over the Trojans with a 6-3, 6-2 decision, wrapping up action at the prestigious fall tournament.

Niculescu/Sanchez finish up the fall season with a 8-2 mark as a doubles pair.

While Niculescu and Sanchez were closing down the fall season in Virginia, Cristala Andrews and Lyndsay Kinstler saw action in Arizona at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational. Full results for the Women of Troy in Virginia and Arizona are below.
