California women's tennis junior Claire Ilcinkas won her 30th singles match of the year to help the Golden Bears advance to the second round of the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Tournament

BERKELEY - The No. 8 California women's tennis team put a 4-0 victory in the books today at the Hellman Tennis Complex as they defeated Army in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Tournament. The Golden Bears will face the winner of today's 2 p.m. match between No. 27 LSU and No. 42 Washington State in a second round noon match tomorrow (May 10) at Hellman Tennis Complex.
