Ten doubles teams are also ranked, including three in the top five. 8/4/2009 UCLA's Lumpkin and Arizona's Sheedy Named Oroweat "Healthy Minds" Postgraduate Scholarship Winners Elizabeth Lumpkin, former women's tennis player at UCLA and Craig Sheedy, former diver at ARIZONA, have been selected as winners of the 2008-09 Oroweat "Healthy Minds" Postgraduate Scholarship, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today. 7/23/2009 Pacific-10 Conference Athletes Recognized as Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars The Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars, which are presented by the Diverse: Issues In High Education magazine, were recently named, recognizing the academic achievements of 49 Pacific-10 Conference student-athletes from four member institutions. Named for the famed tennis player and scholar Arthur Ashe, student-athletes have to compete in an intercollegiate sport, maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 and be active on their campuses or in their communities to be eligible for the award.
