2006 PACIFIC-10 CONFERENCE ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS May 14, 2006 Progression Systems for Pac-10 Regatta: In the men's finals, the lane assignments will be based on the seedings of the top finishers in the preliminary heats, with the top-seeded boat that won its heat [the seedings would go from the top (#1 seed) to the bottom (#21 seed)] being placed in lane 1 and the next highest seeded boat that won its heat going into lane 2 and so on. In the women's finals, placement between each pair of two lanes will be determined by a blind draw [in a two-heat race, for example, the first-place boats would progress to lanes 1 and 2, the second-place boats would go to lanes 3 and 4, and the third-place boats would go to lanes 5 and 6, and so on]. Key: CAL-California; GONZ-Gonzaga; LMU-Loyola Marymount; ORE-Oregon; OSU-Oregon State; STAN-Stanford; SDSU-San Diego State; SMU-Saint Mary's; SON-Sonoma State; SSU-Sacramento State; UCD-UC Davis; WASH-Washington; WSU-Washington State.
