Stanford's Kim Named Pac-10 Men's Golfer of the Month

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--Sihwan Kim of Stanford has been named Pacific-10 Conference Golfer of the Month for November 2009. Kim, a junior from Buena Park, Calif., led Stanford to the team title at the Gifford Collegiate at CordeValle. Kim fired three under-par rounds of 68-68-71--207, nine under par, good for a second-place finish in the tournament. Also nominated for player of the month honors were Diego Velasquez of Oregon State, Pontus Widegren of UCLA, Nick Taylor of Washington and Jonathan Khan of Arizona. PAC-10 CONFERENCE--Named Sihwan Kim of Stanford Golfer of the Month for October.
