Pac-10 SAAC Committee Members Executive Committee The Executive Committee is composed of four members of the group who are elected annually by the Pac-10 SAAC. Two of the four shall be elected as co-chairs, with the other two serving as vice co-chairs. The duties of these members are assisting in the Pac-10 Forum meeting planning, and creating the agenda. A co-chair shall represent the Pac-10 SAAC to the Pac-10 Council and attend the meetings if invited.
Pac-10 SAAC Committees Executive Committee The duties of the Executive Committee shall include appointing members to Pac-10 SAAC subcommittees, assisting in Pac-10 Student-Athlete Forum meeting planning, and creating the agenda for the Pac-10 SAAC meetings in consultation with the Communications Subcommittee. A co-chair shall represent the Pac-10 SAAC to the Pac-10 Council and attend meetings of the Council as invited.

Justin Pollard, California (2007-2008) SAAC Subcommittees Subcommittee members are appointed by the SAAC Executive Committee, based on stated preferences of those attending the SAAC meetings. The existing subcommittees are outlined below. Legislative Subcommittee The Legislative Subcommittee shall be appointed annually by the Executive Committee. These representative to the NCAA SAAC shall be an ex-officio member of the Legislative Subcommittee. The duties shall include assisting the Pac-10's NCAA SAAC representative in Tracking NCAA and conference legislation, and identifying student- athlete welfare issues. Pac-10 SAAC positions on NCAA legislation will be developed after discussion of the issues, by a vote of the SAAC members. The Legislative Subcommittee shall identify timelines for comment periods, and communicate the Pac- 10 SAAC comments, if any, to the NCAA through the Pac-10's NCAA SAAC representative.
Community Service Subcommittee The Community Service Subcommittee of the Pac-10 SAAC is comprised of three members who will be appointed by the Executive Committee. Their duties shall include developing ideas for and coordinating Conference-wide community service opportunities. The subcommittee may also seek sponsorship for such activities, working in conjunction with Pac-10 Properties. The subcommittee shall coordinate Conference-wide National Student-Athlete Day Activities, and work with the media for coverage of these events.
Communications Subcommittee The Communications Subcommittee of the Pac-10 SAAC is comprised of three members to be appointed by the Executive Committee. Their duties shall include development and monitoring of a Pac-10 SAAC web page, monitoring the Pac-10 Student-Athlete List-Serve, and maintaining a current and accurate roster of Pac-10 SAAC members. This committee will also work with the Executive Committee to create and distribute agendas for Pac-10 SAAC meetings.
World Financial Group/Pac-10 "Living the Dream" Leadership Award Subcommittee The Cooper Tire Pac-10 Leadership Award subcommittee is responsible for screening all institutional applications for the Cooper Tire Pac-10 Leadership Award, and identifying three male and three females finalists to the Pac-10 SAAC.
NCAA Sportsmanship Award Subcommittee The NCAA Sportsmanship Award subcommittee is responsible for screening all institutional applications for the NCAA Sportsmanship Award, and identifying three finalists to the Pac-10 SAAC. Oroweat "Healthy Minds" Scholarship Subcommitttee
