U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup
Eight Pacific-10 Conference institutions finished the 2007-08 academic year ranked in the final U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Top-30, the most of any conference. The Conference of Champions® was represented by four members in the Director' Cup Top-10. STANFORD won its 14th consecutive Directors' Cup with a national championship in women's cross country and runner-up finishes in women's volleyball, women's basketball, men's gymnastics, and men's golf. The Cardinal placed 10 additional teams in the Top-10. Stanford accumulated 1,461.00 points. UCLA finished second for the thid straight year in the Cup standings with 1,182.00 points, while Arizona State and CALIFORNIA finished fourth and seventh, respectively. USC finished 13th, WASHINGTON was 22nd, OREGON was 26th and ARIZONA finished 27th.
