U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup

Eight Pacific-10 Conference institutions finished the 2008-09 academic year ranked in the final U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Top-25, the most of any conference.

The Conference of Champions® was represented by three members in the Director' Cup Top-10. STANFORD won its 15th consecutive Directors' Cup with a national championship in men's gymnastics and women's rowing, as well as a runner-up finishes in women's volleyball and men's water polo. The Cardinal placed 10 additional teams in the top-five in their respective sports. Stanford accumulated 1,455.00 points. USC finished fourth with 1,137.750 points, its best-ever finish, while CALIFORNIA finished seventh for the second straight year. WASHINGTON finished 11th, while ARIZONA STATE finished 12th, UCLA was 16th, OREGON was 22nd and ARIZONA finished 24th.
