Welcome to the Pac-10 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) website! Two student-athletes from each Pac-10 school comprise the SAAC, whose aim is to facilitate communication among institutional athletic departments, and between the Pac-10 and NCAA SAACs. The Pac-10 SAAC also works to build conference unity through annual meetings, leadership, and community service. Beginning in 2010, the Pac-10 SAAC will launch a conference wide community service project, consisting of a Sports Day on each campus. To find out what else is happening at Pac-10 schools, check out the "In the Community" and "Campus Corner" sections. Here you will find details of special events happening on each campus throughout the year, which could be great ideas to implement at your own school! In the "Awards" section, information on various scholarship opportunities and other awards for Pac-10 Student-Athletes are posted. Special congratulations to the University Of Oregon for receiving the 2009 NCAA SAAC Award of Excellence! The Ducks were recognized by the National SAAC for exceptional community outreach, service, teamwork, growth, and leadership. Additional information on the award and about the NCAA SAAC can be found under the "NCAA SAAC" link above. To find out more about the specific goals of our conference SAAC, check out the "Focal Points" tab. Lastly, do not forget to review the "Meeting Minutes" and "Schedule" sections to learn about past and future SAAC meetings! Thank you for visiting the Pac-10 SAAC webpage and for helping to make out conference the Conference of Champions!
