    Arizona's Lacey Nymeyer Named Pac-10 Woman of the Year

    The Pacific-10 Conference has named Lacey Nymeyer of ARIZONA as its 2008-09 Woman of the Year award winner. The Wildcat swimmer will represent the Conference as its nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award. The NCAA Woman of the Year award honors senior student-athletes for their collegiate achievements in service, leadership, athletics and academics. The 2009 recipient will be announced on October 18, 2009.

    Stanford Claims 15th-Consecutive Directors' Cup Victory

    The Stanford Cardinal took home its 15th straight Learfield Sports Directors' Cup, tallying 1455.00 points. The Directors' Cup is presented annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), Learfield Sports and USA Today to the best overall collegiate athletics programs in the country in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and the NAIA.

    Hoyles Named Conference Administrator of the Year by NACWAA

    The National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) named the Pac-10's Associate Commissioner Christine Hoyles the 2009 Conference Administrator of the Year. The Administrator of the Year award is bestowed to NACWAA members whom have made significant contributions as administrators of intercollegiate athletics and recognizes administrative excellence.
