    Stanford's Appel Named Toyo Tires Pac-10 Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year

    Standord senior center Jayne Appel was named the 2010 Toyo Tires Pac-10 Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today. The award, which is presented in the 22 sports the Conference sponsors, was established to honor collegiate student-athletes that are standouts both academically and in their sports discipline.
