Written By: Ashley Nick It's been a while since I wrote last, Classes have started and time moves quite fast... But hey, no excuses I'll just catch us up quick, The USC Trojans are starting to click. 9 games have been played with heart and fight, Bringing the team closer and feeling alright. 8 and 1 is what our record reads An early loss to Portland showed us our needs. The purple crowd's "Over Rated" chant booms in our mind Watched film, talked it out and put it all behind. We all grew and knew we'd be tested again, A double overtime match against Georgia ended with grins. Came back Zero to Deuce and won Three to Two, The team showed tremendous heart and character, stuck together like glue. It was the freshmen who earned themselves stats Carly Butcher almost had a hat trick, now how about that! But it would be Ashley Freyer with the final shot Composed, placed the ball just like she's been taught. After a nice dinner... 3lbs. of wings, The group was eager for Clemson to fix some things. This game we would not start in the hole, Alyssa Davila said "I don't like it" and scored two goals. Multiple players hit the back of the net Showers after the game during a power outage, with one flash light...we won't forget. Enough on the road ready for home games, Back at McAlister all our families came. Questionable if it was for the kickback BBQ or the soccer Hmm regardless it was a fun, and good food like Betty Crocker. Showing our fans we know how to score, Ending the SMU game with a tally of four. Striving to improve and Be the Best, October 24th ...USC vs. UCLA in the Coliseum... be a guest! But that's not for a while so back to the focus Make sure you buy tickets though, you can't get them with `Hocus Pocus' Got Bakersfield on Thursday and Northridge Sunday Our last games of preseason, then it's Pac-10 play. As the chapter of preseason is coming to a close, I will bookmark it here I suppose, And write again after the weekend fun Reporting back with good results...alright, I'm done. Ashley Nick
