Pac-10 Names Weiberg Deputy Commissioner, Chief Operating Officer

Larry Scott, commissioner of the Pac-10 Conference, announced today that former Big 12 commissioner and Big Ten executive, Kevin Weiberg, will join the Pac-10 as Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer. The appointment is effective April 12, 2010.

This Week in Pac-10 Men's Basketball

CALIFORNIA holds a one-game lead in the Pac-10 race and will host hard charging WASHINGTON Thursday on ESPN2. It's the first time since the 2006 season that all 10 teams have each won at least 10 games, and the 10th time since 1978-79. In 31 years of Pac-10 play, seven times the league champion sported a 14-4 record in league play.
